1971 saw the addition of a new model to the Dodge Dart lineup. Sharing the Plymouth Duster body, Dodge’s version was called the Demon. The Dodge featured a different grille and rear taillight assembly.
Dodge used a devilish little cartoon character holding a pitchfork as a logo. Decals of the logo appeared on the sides of the front fenders and the taillight panel. Some religious groups were not happy with the use of this name or logo. The Dodge Demon was offered two models the Demon Two Door Coupe and the Demon 340 Two Door Coupe.
